For Grounded Healers

During a healing I ensure that my own energy remain grounded. Strong grounding can help to set an adjustment made in the energy field during a treatment. To do this just requires a short visualization and planting my feet firmly on the ground. There are times when I leave this position and meet my client's position, but for the most part, being grounded will keep the client feeling safe and the therapy more permanent.

If you would like to, this script can be applied to a daily routine...used upon awakening while you brush your teeth, etc and at night before you go to sleep and as you are laying in bed. To help further, use this script throughout the day when you are feeling overwhelmed, anxious, in conflict with another person or just feeling tired. Grounding yourself will reduce unwanted energy and help you to focus and clarify your next step forward.

Find a place now where you can stand or sit and close your eyes for a moment. This will take about 3 minutes to do once you've got the idea.

Now with legs planted on the ground and hands loosely faced down on your thighs, bring your attention to the top of your head...imagine a wide ball of light directly above you. This brilliant light is filled with love, peace and cleansing power and is the place where God lives...Open the top of your head and allow this marvelous healing light to flow in through the center of your head...if you have guides that you love and trust, invite them to be a part of your grounding experience and ask them to watch over you now...as positive information moves through you... to allow you to breathe in harmony with your spirit.

Now, pull your attention to the top of your spine, allowing this brilliant light to flow through your spine like molasses. Allow it to cover all the spaces in your body as it moves slowly down.
Now, imagine a cord from your tailbone into the earth. It can be a large cord or small, it can be made of twine, steel or of twisted vines. Focus on all toxins in your body dropping down this cord...locate negative energy and allow it to drop down this cord...now focus on the space around you...and drop it down this cord. Drop it down into the earth as far as it needs to go for it to be cleansed and repeeat this process until your body feels cleared of all tension, toxins and negative energy. The more you drop this energy down, the more your body will feel lighter and more clear.

Now imagine the light filled energy from above coming into your body and energy going out through the earth in a cyclical motion. This is energy in it's correct directional flow...you can come back to this space at any time you need. This will help you become grounded at any time you need...whether in chaos or in meditation...when you feel complete in this exercise, please return to the room you're in and open your eyes.

I've seen this exercise before in energy circles I've been too. Do you have anything else, in terms of a simple exercise that would work on the physical body rather than the electric/magnetic body?
